Hello, you've reached Ema Skye! Sorry, I can't come to the phone right now but leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can! Have a nice day.

Yes, we did. The murder victim was the body double; the conspiracy I spoke of was twelve years ago, by my time. But this cast a shadow upon the last case I solved before coming back here.
prosecutory: (♖ you shoot me down; but I won't fall)

In a way, yes. But that's not all. The facts of that previous case, the SS-5 Incident, were tampered with. False evidence was included in the record.

And above all these people...was a mastermind who pulled the strings, who turned them against each other.
prosecutory: (♗ you're gonna hear my voice)

Yes. [Don't worry, Ema. And Edgeworth is visibly relieved that he can say "yes" with certainty.] Yes, we did.
prosecutory: (♖ but all your bullets ricochet)

Heh. [Way to flatter his ego a little bit, Ema.] No case can go unsolved. [He doesn't brag about how HE'LL be the one to make sure of that, though.]

Hey, Ema? It's Apollo. [He and the detective weren't really close even when she was around his age, but he figures he should check in on her since they did get separated on the first day.]

Did you get a chance to talk to Mr. Wright and the others yet?
prosecutory: (♙ and I'm not ashamed to be)

[personal profile] prosecutory 2015-12-01 11:55 am (UTC)(link)
Absolutely. And both those possibilities became fact back home.

Is there anything else you wanted to ask me, Ema?
prosecutory: (♘ listened as the crowds would sing)

[personal profile] prosecutory 2015-12-02 08:59 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, I am. Thank you for asking.

They found me after those townspeople ushered us out onto the field.

Glad to hear you made it out of the game alright, even with the monsters showing up.

A...goddess. Right. [The disbelief is practically dripping from his words, but he refrains from saying anything else. The past week or so hasn't exactly been normal by any standards, and Apollo doesn't know what to belief or not anymore.]

I had some help on the field, too. That's where I found Mr. Wright and Mr. Edgeworth, actually.

Something along those lines. The two of them have been here much longer than I expected.

[Edgeworth in particular had been very handle with a blade, surprisingly enough. And Phoenix had been unruffled by the monsters.]

It sounds impossible, but we can't deny that time isn't as continuous as it should be here. [A sigh.] This might get messy later.

I'm not employed yet. CERES had a few suggestions that I'm looking into.

[He's only looking at one of them seriously, though.]

[If only he had been paid to go to school...]

Two of them on top of attending school? You're a hard worker. [He's a little surprised, but maybe he shouldn't have been. The Detective has always come through for him during the investigations, after all, despite her flippancy at times.]

Which jobs did you accept?

[personal profile] pollygrapher 2015-12-21 08:36 pm (UTC)(link)
[Apollo smiles at the second option--he can't really help it. It's just so fitting for her.]

Sounds as if you're right in your element. I wish mine had been as useful...
